· this weekend i opened the mcu, and shipped the tegra board to laadkabel in eindhoven (neederlands). Multiple dtr & power offs have made no difference. · i am planning an aftermarket audio upgrade for my 2018 model x with mcu2 (base audio system) and was wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram that would. The strange thing is … Is there any diy/instruction/guide available how to swap it? · it seems like mcu failure as quick search from this forum pointed towards that. The replacement from tesla service center is asking $2900 estimate. The stock 12v battery finally died in my 2019 m3, apparently suddenly because i got no warnings on the screen. Cant afford that at this moment. · ive got a 2017 model s (67 reg). It does get confusing. see the invoice i got (tesla confirms infotainment system upgradeability from mcu1 to mcu2 for $2500). · has anyone else experienced this? Searching on ebay shown some listings around $400. · so i part out tesla cars and recently one of the screens was damaged. That seems to be the combination that had their autopilot bricked. A whopping 12 mbps though but not bad. · mine was a b part number which said no screen, but one of the other line items detailed an mcu upgrade with screen. I had just installed the latest update (2024. 23, i believe), then two days later, the screen wouldnt come on at all. I purchased a modem off of amazon that can support a sim. Have you gotten autopilot working yet? I decided to see if the sim would work outside of the mcu. · mcu replacement seems like a pretty substantial fix for a very minor problem. Cant see the camera feeds in reverse and the maps move like youre looking at something while on acid. I was under the impression that this software-induced issue would be fixed with a software update. The modem arrived and i plugged the sim in and it works great. I dont know if these are different names for the same thing or not. · i am having the same issue with my 2017 mx90d after software update 2024. 44. 1. It has the full self driving package upgrade (yep, not just the eap package). I put back the mcu in place with the lcd disconnected on order to have the 12v charged, so i can drive the car (with no heating nor ventilation). ~2 hours, difficulty 2/5 (great help with this video ) click to expand. It has the autopilot computer 3 as well as the mcu 2. Less than 2yo mcu2 with display issues regardless of brightness or light/dark mode.
